Retail Shops Coordinator Job Opportunity at Ongeza AgroVet
POSITION: RETAIL SHOPS COORDINATOR – 1 POST
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for a qualified and motivated individual to support both field extension activities and retail operations.
LOCATION: Arusha (Ready to travel across the region)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring consistent product availability and supervising retail shop operations.
- Ensuring all retail purchases of agricultural inputs are made through Jumla Africa.
- Conducting regular stock checks and sharing updated wholesale price lists with customers.
- Coordinating delivery of goods when required.
- Training farmers on safe agrochemical use, good agronomic practices, and new products.
- Conducting farm visits, demonstrations, and farmer field days.
- Following up with farmers on crop progress and providing after-sales support.
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing daily/weekly reports.
- Supporting sales targets, customer loyalty programs, and building strong relationships with farmers and local authorities.

- Degree/Diploma in sales and marketing, Business administration or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Knowledge of agro-inputs (seeds, pesticides or veterinary drugs, etc.) is an advantage.
- Willing to travel across the Regions

POSITION: CLUSTER MANAGERS – 2 POSTS
Job Type: Full-time
Supervises multiple sales teams within a specific geographic area or market segment, developing strategies, and ensuring effective sales operations to reach company targets.
LOCATION: Manyara and Tanga
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise retail shops within your cluster
- Planning and coordination of all sales activities to meet monthly target.
- Monitoring team performance and report.
- Monthly Monitoring and auditing of products and stock levels.
- Cross-check shops account to ensure timely deposit of sales cash.
- Listen to team members feedback and resolve any issue or conflict.
- Follow up on the payment by customers on their credit purchases (Defaulters)
- Prepare a monthly sales report and submit to the Sales Manager
- Supervise and ensure proper use and management of company’s assets in the district.
- To use sales software app as monitoring tool for your daily market activities.
- Performing any other related duties as may be assigned by your supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree/Diploma in sales and marketing, Business administration or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work under minimum supervision Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Creative decision making
- Willing to relocate or travel across the Regions for sales activities
