Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager based in IRINGA
CARE International in Tanzania is seeking the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager (MEAL) for Iringa Projects who will be responsible in providing support in monitoring and evaluation across two key projects (KNK and TNK) as well as Multiplying Impact Evidence Coordination for CARE programs in the Iringa Region. The incumbent will be responsible for overall Monitoring and Evaluation and learning needs of the projects and will come up with findings based on real data to show performance of the project.
The incumbent will also help the projects in strengthening its M&E functions based on her/his experience from the two project. S/he will play role in promoting of key learning for the improvement of the projects and wider learning of both TnK and KNK.The incumbent will also identify and work with the Iringa programs to develop evidence that strengthens CARE Tanzania’s capacity to influence other stakeholders and multiply impact.
However, S/he is reporting to the Project coordinators (Management) as well as dotted line link with the Communications, Influencing and Evidence Manager. The incumbent will have to cope with the general social, political, economic and cultural situation in the district including a wide range of internal and external audiences. S/he will be responsible in coordinating documentation of all program activities, case studies, stories, lessons and experiences related to Food and Nutrition security management for sharing out and for advocacy purposes. S/he will assist proper implementation of the activities of the program, in collaboration with other team members.

- Firstly, The candidate should have a bachelor in Development Studies, Social Science or related field;
- Secondly, M&E courses will be an advantage.
- Thirdly, S/he should have minimum 3 years of work experience in a monitoring and evaluation (M&E systems) role for a project or non-governmental organization.
- Furthermore, Strong prior experience with online data management, data collection, use of mobile data systems, logical framework, data analysis and presentation, report writings.
- Lastly, Demonstrated ability to make judgment calls and decisions with respect to monitoring and evaluation activities, within delegated authority, that impact significantly;
